18 yrs. old Manish Sureshkumar lifted his first futures title in Sri Lanka ... He defeated Ukrainian Orlov in three sets ... After winning the tight first set in the tie-break Manish lost his focus ... Orlov took advantage for winning the second set without losing a game ... But Manish recovered in the third and comfortably completed victory ... In this future, 19 yrs. old Nitin Kumar also performed well and lost the semis against Manish.
Manish failed to lift double crown ... He with Mohit Mayur lost in straight sets against Thai pair.

In first two weeks of Sri Lankan futures Manish performed above expectation ... In the first week, he reached in the final and lost against top-600 Russian Alexander Zhurbin ... In the second week, he reached into the semis and lost against top-400 Spaniard David Perez Sanz ... So when these all points will get added then Manish will be in top-600.

Zeel scored an excellent comeback win over Swedish girl, Jacqueline Cabaj Awad, after losing the first set ... She is having a tough final against former WR #102 ranked local girl, Maria Joao Koehler.
In the doubles final, Zeel and her Romanian partner Ene failed to challenge Cabaj Awad and Bejenaru.

Yes, it seems semi-retirement. Most probably Asian games can be his last big hurray. But then I may be wrong also, we need to wait and watch.
