[Q1] (6) N. Sriram Balaji (IND)/ Vishnu Vardhan (IND) bt Sergio Galdos (PER)/ Gerald Melzer (AUT) 63 64

Disappointing start for Indians in Wimbledon qualifying as our all three players lost on the first hurdle ... Sumit lost last 10 games in a row to lose against clay-court specialist ... Prajnesh failed to challenge Kamke in the first set ... He tried in the second set and was a break up at 3-1, but lost his serve in the 5th game 3-2 ... Kamke again broke him in the 9th game and then held his serve for completing the win ... RamK also struggled against experienced Bolelli ... Bolelli held his 1st serve after multiple deuce but he broke RamK in the 2nd to lead 0-3 ... Bolelli won the first set with a break advantage ... Bolelli again took a break advantage in the second and kept that advantage for winning the match.

In the doubles, an expected winning start for our pairs; Bala-Vishnu and Jeevan-Austin.
