Yuki struggled with knee niggle in this match but that wasn't the only reason for the loss ... Medvedev was a better player on the court ... He broke Yuki in the 5th game to lead 2-3 and after that both players held their respective service games till Medvedev won it ... In the second set, after winning the 1st game Yuki lost next six games for losing the match ... Yuki wasn't looked a comfortable on the grass.
Purav and Fabrice faced an alternative pair and they strarted with a win against Copil and Tsitsipas.

RamK needed to dig deep for his win over in-form Jason Jung in tight three sets ... In the first set, RamK was an early break down but he broke Jason at 4-5 when he was serving for the set ... RamK had couple of set points on Jason's serve in the 12th game, 15-40, which he missed ... Jason won the tie-break ... In the second set, both players held their respective service games till 10th game ... RamK broke Jason in the 11th and the held for winning the set ... In the final set, RamK broke Jason in the 3rd game to lead 2-1 ... After that both players held their service games and RamK didn't give any chance of fight back ... In this match RamK hit 18 aces and only 3 double faults, a superb stuff.
