At 2014 World Chess Championship, Sochi, Russia (November 7– November 28, 2014)
GM Viswanathan Anand (IND,2792) - GM Magnus Carlsen (NOR,2863) 1½-1½
11.11.2014 - Game Three
GM Viswanathan Anand (IND,2792) - GM Magnus Carlsen (NOR,2863) 1-0
After losing the second game I wasn't expected such a strong response by Anand ... He prove everyone wrong (including me) with his tactical and aggressive moves ... Carlsen was shocked with Anand's sharp game and lose this game on time trouble ... Anand is definitely putting extra pressure on Carlsen with this win.
This game moved on Queen's Gambit Declined opening ... Till 15 moves both players were on bookish moves ... Anand surprised Carlsen with his aggressive Ng5 move ... Carlsen take more than half hour for his next move, Ndf6 ... Anand used very sharp f3 move on 19th move ... Due to Anand's aggressiveness Carlsen found himself in time trouble as he was taking lot more time to think his next move ... Only 7 minutes were remaining for 12 moves for Carlsen ... And in that Carlsen made mistake and then resigned after 34 moves.
