23.11.2014 - Game Eleven
GM Magnus Carlsen (NOR,2863) - GM Viswanathan Anand (IND,2792) 1-0

Magnus Carlsen retaines World championship after completing victory in 11th game ... As everyone predicted Carlsen go for a win in 11th game playing with White ... In this game also Anand opted for Berlin defense ... Anand tried to surprise Carlsen with c5 on 12th move ... And after that Anand take control but again like 6th game Anand made a blunder on 27th move, Rb4 ... Again Anand lost his patience and played self destructed moves from 26th to 28th, those were Rdb8, then Rb4, and cxb4 ... Carlsen kept playing perfect moves after that and Anand resigned after 45th move ... In my view this was the last match Anand played in World championship as I doubt he will ever recover from his blunders from 6th and 11th games, though he gave brilliant fight in this championship matches.

Despite making blunder on 26th move Carlsen wins 6th game to take lead in World championship ... In this game Anand again selected Sicilian defense ... Carlsen had small advantage early but Anand defended skillfully ... And suddenly Carlsen committed a blunder on the move 26, Kd2, giving Anand a chance to deliver a simple tactical blow with Nxe5 27 move ... Anand failed to notice this chance and made an indifferent A4 move fairly quickly ... And then Anand realized their mutual errors, and it was a tough mental blow for him ... After the blunder he never recovered and resigned game after 38 moves ... Now after rest day Carlsen will again play with White so big testing time for Anand ... This blunder will haunt him and I am really hoping this is not going to cost him World championship match.
