This year's Candidates tournament is started at Khanty-Mansiysk to decide World champion Magnus Carlsen's first opponent with whom he defends his title ... As we know Anand is slow starter in big tournament but here he surprises everyone in the first round ... He was having tough opponent WR #2 Levon Aronian in the first round ... Anand started with white pieces and firstly he neutralized Aronian's Marshall with ease ... After that he outplayed Aronian for a fantastic win after 47 moves ... Good start for Anand but this is very long tournament so here I m keeping my excitement under control ... ;-)
