Anand started confidently winning the first game but after that he failed to keep pressure and lost next two games comfortably.
Earlier Sindhu struggled to keep her shots under control and Li take advantage of it winning the first game ... After that Sindhu raised her game in next two games and in end won the final game comfortably to book place in the quarters ... Saina scored comfortable win against her French opponent Sashina losing total 20 points only ... Next she is facing real tough challenge of former WR #1 Yihan Wang ... Saina having 1-6 win-loss against Yihan, in their last meeting Yihan retired in the match after losing first game.
Kashyap started slowly against below 100 ranked Malaysian Wong but after losing first game Kashyap woke up ... He won last two games convincingly and enter into the quarters ... He is facing similar ranked Tapei player Chou, who defeated Anand in previous round.
