Vikas Malik scored upset win over 5th seed Hungarian Miklos Varga ... After winning the first round easily Malik faced stiff resistance from Varga but Malik won next two rounds with solitary point advantage ... In the quarter he is facing 4th seed Brazilian.
Other hand Sumit toyed his 8th seed Belarusian opponent in one-sided match ... He won all three rounds comfortably ... Next he is facing local top-seed and London Olympics silver-medalist Adilbek Niyazymbetov.
Young Satish Kumar also joined our young brigade in the quarters with close win over Belarusian boxer ... All three rounds were closely fought which Satish Kumar won by a single point advantage ... Next he is facing local 2nd seed player and London Olympics bronze-medalist Ivan Dychko.
This is the first time that our five boxers r in the quarter-final ... In last edition our four boxers reached in the quarter final stage.
