Our most experience boxer Vijender Singh lost against 5th seed Irish boxer Quigley in the second round ... The first round ended on tie but afterwards Quigley dominated and won next two rounds convincingly.
But our other three young boxers won their respective bouts ... Nanao Thokchom started with winning the first round comfortably but in next two rounds his Scottish opponent stretched him ... Both these rounds Nanao won by a single point ... Next he is facing Puerto Rico 8th seed boxer Rivera.
Filipino boxer gave surprisingly tough fight to Shiva ... Shiva won the first round by single point advantage but then won the second round convincingly ... Again in the third round Shiva needed to fight hard and won it by a single point ... Next he is facing Argentine boxer.
Young Satish Kumar started with convincing victory over Mirodzhidin Karimov ... Satish Kumar won all three rounds comfortably ... In the second round he is facing Bulgarian boxer Yan Sudzilouski.
