Saina failed to defend her title and lost in 66 minutes against Korean Sung ... In the first game both players were exchanging lead till 10-all ... From 10-11 Saina opened 15-12 lead and then won 6 points in a row from 15-13 to won this game ... In the second game also both were exchanging lead till 10-all but after that Sung take 19-12 lead ... Saina saved 3 game points from 15-20 but Sung converted 4th game point ... In the decider also both players were exchanging lead through out the game ... From 13-all Saina opened 3 points lead but Sung won next 3 points for catching Saina at 16-all ... Again Sung take 2 points lead after winning 3 points from 16-17 ... This time Saina caught her at 19-all but Sung won next 2 points for completing victory ... This was Sung's first victory over Saina after four losses.
Pengyu Du defeated Guru in 47 minutes ... Pengyu Du won the first game comfortably after taking control from the start ... Guru gave fighting performance in the second game ... Guru take 7-3 lead which he increased to 12-7 but then he failed to take advantage of it ... Pengyu won next 6 points to take 13-12 lead ... Again Guru take couple of points lead 16-14 but this time also Pengyu fought back to take 19-17 lead ... Guru made it 19-all but Pengyu won next 2 points and completed victory in straight games ... Still good performance by Guru in this Danish Super series.
