Frankly Afghanistan was looking more complete side than Indians and they were giving consistent performance in this tournament ... In my view they r deserving SAFF champions ... Afghanistan won their first SAFF title comfortably beating Indians ... This was also Afghanistan's first ever international tournament title.
Afghans scored a goal in each half ... Indians produced some moves but they were never threatening in front of the goal ... India did put in a decent performance but lack of goals and a poor defense saw them missing out on winning their third straight SAFF Championship.
