In the final round the Chinese GM Wang Hao ruined Anand's chances of gaining Silver by beating the World Champion in very strong positional game ... Wang played perfect game without giving any chances to Anand and won it in 49 moves ... Hari managed draw after 66 moves against Nakamura after long game.

Magnus Carlsen lifted the title 1½ points lead over 2nd place Levon Aronian ... Carlsen scored 10 points and Aronian finished on 2nd place with 8½ points ... Anand tied for 3rd position with Sergey Karjakin with 8 points ... Hari finished on creditable sole 7th position with 6½ points in his first participation in this strong tournament.
