Goal Scorer - Shivender Singh (IND) 6' and Simon Child (NZL) 1', Andy Hayward (NZL) 34' PC, Nick Wilson (NZL) 58', Stephen Jenness (NZL) 61', Matt L'Huillier (NZL) 66' PC
Another pathetic and lethargic performance from us on the field in the first match of Sultan Azlan Shah Tournament ... We were feeble inside D while defending ... Sandeep Singh, Raghunath and Rupinderpal Singh were culprits in conceding penalty corners and they failed to trap simple passes or intercept crosses from their opponents ... Out forward also fumbled or mis-pass in front of the goal ... Missed numerous chances and managed to get only 2 penalty corners which Raghunath failed to convert ... Other hand we conceded 8 penalty corners and the black sticks converted 2 of them.
