London Olympics Qualified Indian Badminton players

As expected reaching in the semis at Indian Super series helped Kashyap to become India's #1 men's singles player ... His ranking is improved by 6 places and Ajay manage to climb single position, #26.

Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa also reached in quarters at Indian Super series which help them to improve their ranking by 4 places ... So rank #16 they qualify for the Olympics.

Despite losing in the first round against Chinese pair Diju and Jwala climb one place in latest ranking so they r also qualified for the Olympics.

Sania will be facing 3 Wangs in the Olympics - WR #1 Yihan Wang, WR #2 Xin Wang and WR #3 Shixian Wang ... All other nations having single entry in the Women's draw other than 3 Chinese and 2 Koreans.

In the third round Sai failed to produce any fight against WR #1 Lee ... But other hand Prannoy scored upset win over 4th seed Daren Liew in straight sets ... This was a big win for Prannoy against top-35 ranked player ... Next he is facing another Malaysian 6th seed Hashim ... Sourabh was facing Singapore's Yong Zhao Ashton Chen against him lost in straight games against Chen in their only meeting at Thomas cup preliminaries, but here he managed to turn table on him and scored straight games victory over him ... Next he is facing 3rd seed and top-20 Indonesian Sugiarto.
