In updated ranking Indian drops to #160 in FIFA world ranking due to not playing enough friendlies to keep their ranking in inside top-140 ... But today Indian team take full advantage of 7 regulars missing from Namibian side scoring upset win over WR #116 ranked team.
Both team were struggling to control ball on soggy field ... But Indians adjusted well to these condition than visiting team ... Mehrajuddin scored goal on 25th minute due to deflection by Namibian defender when he tried long shot from outside of penalty box ... In second half Indians added another goal through excellent free kick by Pereira in 55th minute ... Subrata Pal was excellent under the bar saving many shots from Namibians.
