India won 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze in 4th stage Worl Cup.

India had another opportunity to win gold after their victory at the Antalya World Cup this year, where Japan finished 3rd ... At Antalya India had defeated Japan in semifinals (216-213) ... In this match Indians managed lead from the start and at intermediate score was 113-108 ... In last Japan matched with Indians archer but taking early lead helped India to win 224-220 for another gold medal ... Korea defeated China 223-216 to win Bronze.

Ki, who was 2nd at the last stage of the World Cup in Ogden, won comfortably against the current Cadet World Champion Deepika Kumari ... Today Ki played near perfect game and Deepika couldn't match her ... But creditable performance by young archer to won Silver in this big event.

This was fifth encounter between these two archers ... Their last encounter was won by Marco Galiazzo at the World Cup Final last year in the semifinals (111-103) ... This year the 2004 Olympic champion Marco Galiazzo was showing consistency to finish inside top 10 in previous 3 stages of the World Cup and for Jayanta Talukdar, his best result was a 5th place in Antalya.

Today Marco Galiazzo took the first set but Jayant won the second set ... Then archers tied at 3-3 after 3 sets ... Then Jayant hit consistent arrows to won next 2 sets and the bronze medal.
