India was the strongest team in Group C with their depth in singles ... But today our top singles and doubles players lost their matches and then pressure was on our second doubles team to win their match to remain in the tie.

Chetan lost in straight games against Saensomboonsuk, which he should have won ... Same happened with our top doubles team of Rupesh and Sanave, they lost against Thai pair giving close fight ... After 0-2 down in third match Arvind responded to a call and scored easy victory .. After that Our second doubles team also responded well ... They scored comeback victory over Thai pair to kept tie alive ... After that all pressure was on young Gurusai ... And Gurusai scored comfortable victory over his lowly ranked Thai opponent and helped India to top Group C ... This is creditable performance from us after losing first 2 matches ... In quarters we r mostly facing Vietnamese.

In next knock-out ties we require better performance from our top players, Chetan and Rupesh/ Sanave.
