After reaching semis in doubles at Masters tournament Sania improved her ranking to #68 from #87 ... Chia-Jung also climbed couple of places to #17 ... This week also they r playing together in MPS Group Championships.

Today Sania playing her singles first round match against Alona Bondarenko @ 2:00 pm local time on centre court.

India started on a disastrous note with debutant Egypt holding them 2-2 in their opening match on Sunday in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup ... Again India paid dearly in their age-old problem of conceding last-minute goals as Egypt pulled off an unlikely draw in the 70th minute through Mohamed El Saied's penalty corner strike after Indians went into ultra-defensive mode.
