Shooting News
At ISSF World Cup 2009, Chongwon, Korea
Gagan Narang won gold in the men's 50 metre rifle 3 position (Prone, Standing, Kneeling)and with that he became first Indian to win 2 medals in same ISSF World Cup ... Gagan earlier won the bronze medal in 10 mtrs air rifle event ... He also became first Indian to reached finals of 3 events in single ISSF World Cup, before this he narrowly missed medal in the free rifle prone event where he finished 4th.

Gagan shot 1166 in the qualification round and 98 in the final to aggregate 1264 points to captured gold, he was 5th after qualification round.

This 2 hrs 28 mins match was close affair though score looks one sided in 2 sets which Sania lost ... In this match Sania lost her serve 7 times but she also broke Venus serve 4 times ... After losing firse set easily Sania came back into match winning next but Venus showed her experience in decider to clinch match ... Sania can take lot of positive from this match from the way she cameback in this match against very experienced and top 5 player, Venus Williams.
