At Australian Open Billiards Championship 2008, Melbourne 23 - 29 June 2008


Pankaj won Australian Open Billiards Championship (150-format) beating countryman Dhruv Sitwala in the final ... Pankaj, Dhruv and Devendra Joshi participated here in the preparation for World Professional Billiards Championship at Leeds from 23rd July.
Pankaj Advani - "It was a good championship. The conditions were very player friendly. Winning on debut is definitely special. There were quite a few good players. They had an edge over the Indians because played the time format tournament, which could not participate in."
"The semifinals was a god match. Matthew Bolton was playing exceptionally well. I had to bring out the best in myself to beat him."
