The Indian women ended with a silver and 3 bronze medals ... Young Manju Rani settled with silver after giving another superb performance against a host nation's favorite Ekaterina Paltceva ... There was little separating in both boxers, maybe Paltceva was little quicker and sharper in her punches ... Still a creditable performance by Manju in her first World Cup.
Overall, a good performance as Mery Kom and Lovlina won bronze medals in the Olympic categories ... Mery Kom becomes the first woman to win 8 medals in the World Cup ... Jamuna Boro also gave a spirited performance to win a bronze medal ... Also, Neeraj lost a controversial match against a Chinese boxer.
