The 16-year old Saurabh Chaudhary set a new World Record with 245.0 points (with an average higher than 10.2 points per shot throughout the final) to secure the gold medal, as well as a Tokyo 2020 Olympic quota place for India.
In the qualifying, Saurabh qualified on the 3rd position with 587 pts ... Abhishek Verma finished on the 24th and Ravinder Singh on the 26th positions with 576 pts.
In the 25m Pistol Women final, Manu Bhaker became the 4th player to get eliminated with 22 hits and finished on the 5th position ... Before that in the qualifying, Manu qualified on the 2nd position with 590 pts ... Rahi Sarnobat finished on the 15th and Chinki Yadav finished on the 17th position with 580 pts.
In the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men event, our players failed to qualify for the final ... Parul Kumar finished on the 22nd position with 1170 pts and Sanjeev Rajput finished on the 25th position with 1169 pts.
