Apurvi Chandela won a Gold in the 10m Air Rifle women setting a new world record of 252.9 points, out of 24 final shots ... She bettered the previous record of 252.4 pts, which was set by Ruozhu Zhao ... But no Olympic quota for us, as Apurvi had already won an Olympic quota at last year’s World Championship ... So the Chinese girls secured the two Tokyo 2020 quota places up for grabs.
Apurvi qualified for the final in the 4th place with 629.3 pts ... Anjum Moudgil finished on the 12th place with 628.0 pts and Elavenil Valarivan finished on the 30th place with 625.3 pts.
