Prajnesh lost in straight sets against the young American Frances Tiafoe in his first grand slam match ... Prajnesh tried hard but Tiafoe played a patient game and that helped him as Gunner made more mistakes ... In the first set, both players were holding their serves comfortably ... In the tie-break, Tiafoe had a mini-break but Gunner took it back ... At 7-8, Gunner missed a simple overhead to lose the set ... In the second set, Gunner broke Tiafoe in the 3rd game, 2-1, but played lose service game for 2-all ... Tiafoe took control from here as he again broke Gunner in the 6th game, 2-4, and kept this advantage for winning the set ... In the final set, both players exchanged breaks early and Gunner was leading 3-2 on his serve ... Tiafoe broke him in the 7th game to lead 3-4 and again broke Gunner when he was serving for staying in the match in the 9th game to complete the victory ... Still, a good week for Gunner as he qualified and playing his first grand slam main-draw match ... Hoping for many more in the next few years.
