In the qualifying, Anjum dominated and qualified for the final with new Qualifying Game Record, 589 pts and Tejaswini qualified on the third position with 582 pts.
15 yrs old Anish Bhanwala won Gold medal in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men's event beating Australian shooter ... When matter most he hit 5/5 in the final round to win Gold with new record ... Neeraj Kumar finished on the 5th position with 13 pts as he eliminated 2nd in the final ... Anish and Neeraj qualified for the final on the top 2 positions with 580 pts and 579 pts.
In Men's freestyle, Bajrang Punia was technically too strong for these wrestlers and in CWG he won Gold of Freestyle 65 kg without losing a single point ... In the final also, he completed win in the first period against Wales wrestler Kane Charig ... Mausam Khatri won Silver in Freestyle 97 kg ... He reached in the final with couple of good wins ... In the final, his South African opponent, Martin Erasmus, proved too strong to handle.
In women's freestyle, For Gold medal Pooja Dhanda lost a close match against strong Nigerian wrestler in Women's Freestyle 57 kg ... Pooja defeated Cameroon wrestler Joseph Essombe Tiako in the semis on points ... Before that, she also scored couple of good wins in her Group ... Divya Kakran won Bronze beating Bangladeshi wrestler comfortably in the Women's Freestyle 68 kg ... Before, she lost the semi-final against Nigerian wrestler ... In group, She won a match and lost another match against superior Canadian wrestler.
In boxing, Naman Tanwar confirmed Bronze after losing to his Aussie opponent in the semis in 91kg category ... Hussamuddin Mohammed also confirmed Bronze after losing his bout to British boxer in 56kg category Another Bronze medal in 69kg category as Manoj Kumar lost easily against British boxer.
In table tennis, higher ranked Singaporean pair proved too strong for our pair, Manika Batra and Mouma Das in the Women's Doubles final ... Our other pair also lost in Bronze medal match against Malaysian pair.
Shreyasi Singh finished in the fifth position in the Women's Trap Finals.
So after end of the ninth day, we remain on the third position and already we win highest number of golds in CWG history ... We win 17 golds, 11 silvers and 14 bronzes.
