Sandeep Tomar's participation in this tournament was controversial as Rahul Aware defeated him in trails but ahead of him Sandeep got this chance ... Sandeep started confidently beating Turkish wrestler convincingly ... In the quarter final Sandeep faced real challenge but he managed to come over Kyrgyzstan wrestler ... In the semis Sandeep was 8-6 up when 15 seconds were remaining against Azerbaijani wrestler ... But Hasanzada managed to take down him and won it on last point win criteria ... In the Bronze medal match Sandeep playing attacking wrestling and won the bout in dominating fashion within couple of minute against Moldova wrestler Chirtoacă ... Total three wrestlers were going to qualify from this group so wrestle-off happened between two Bronze medal winners ... Sandeep continued with his attacking wrestling and defeated Ukrainian Andriy Yatsenko convincingly.
