He became the only rower from India to qualify for the Rio Olympics ... In the final Dattu Bhokanal was on course for a gold medal finish as he was leading the five-man field till the 1,500m mark but Korean Dongyong Kim smartly paced his race (07 mins 05.13 secs) and overtook him in the final stretch.
