Really good start for Indian players as all five matches in which Indian players play they all win by our players ... Yuki starts with expected comfortable win over Anvit ... I was thinking Sumit's match will be tough but he played solid tennis to beat Purav despite struggling with his first serve.
Also good win for RamK against similar ranked opponent Spanish Granollers ... In first set RamK was double break down at 1-5 ... RamK saved a set point on his serve in 7th game before making remarkable comeback ... RamK won next five games for 6-5 and in tie-break saved another set point before converting his first set point ... In second set RamK won with single break.
Another first round win by Prajnesh against fellow but higher ranked Uzbek qualifier ... After winning first set Prajnesh lost second set cheaply ... In decider both players were holding their respective service games ... Prajnesh took crucial break in 11th game but while serving for the match Prajnesh failed to hold his serve ... Prajnesh kept fighting for winning tight tie-break.
For me best win of the day from Vishnu ... After longtime I m seeing Vishnu is winning against top-300 type player ... Vishnu scored straight sets win over Gerasimov with single break in both sets.
In the doubles Sood twins lose their match after winning first set ... Sumit-Vishnu start with straight sets win.
