[QF] (4) Joshana Chinappa (IND,24) bt (5) Joey Chan (HKG,27) 3-2 (11-8, 11-13, 9-11, 11-9, 11-7) (70m)

As expected Joshana and Dipika were in the quarters in on-going Asian championship, though Joshna struggled against un-ranked Chinese player in the second round.

In the quarters both matches went to distance ... Dipika lose marathon match against Delia Arnold ... She lost closely fought first 2 frames but she fought back to win the third after saving match balls ... Dipika won the fourth won to make 2-all ... But in the fifth Dipika failed to win crucial points in lost this long match ... Other hand Joshana make amazing comeback after 1-2 frames down to win her match.

[QF] (2) Saurav Ghosal (IND,21) l (7) Nasir Iqbal (PAK,45) 1-3 (15-13, 7-11, 4-11, 5-11) (75m)

Saurav was pissed off with referees standard as so many wrong decision given against him in the quarters ... He was robbed from win against Nasir Iqbal.

Here I was expecting three quarter-finalist but instead only Saurav managed to reach with straight games victory ... Harinder Pal Singh lost after winning first 2 frames ... Mahesh was looking injured in his loss.
