Very clinical performance from Somdev against big hitter Kudryavtsev ... Buji take early break in first set to lead 4-1 ... He kept that single break advantage for winning it ... In second set Buji broke Kudryavtsev in 3rd game to lead 2-1 ... Buji broke Kudryavtsev again in 9th game when he was serving for staying in the match ... With that Buji completed comfortable win and more over in this match he did not face a single break point on his serve ... In the quarters Buji is playing against Spanish hard court specialist challenger level player Adrian Menendez Maseiras.
Other hand Yuki struggled against big serving Donskoy ... Donskoy take early break to lead 4-2 and he kept that advantage for winning it ... In second set Donskoy broke Yuki in 1st game to lead 2-0 ... From 2-4 Yuki won next 2 games and in that he broke Donskoy in 8th game to made 4-all ... But Donskoy broke Yuki in next game to lead 5-4 and then hold his serve comfortably for completing the victory ... Yuki must be tired in this week becoz after Davis cup he won double crown in last week's Chennai challenger ... So he is getting little longish break before next week's bigger Delhi challenger.
In the doubles our both pairs in the semis with solid wins ... Divij-Vishnu needed second set tie-break for their upset win over Taipei Davis cup pair in straight sets ... Sanam-Saketh scored comfortable win over Soeda-Pouille.
