Joshana Chinappa won $15K Winnipeg open in very closely contested match against Egyptian Heba El Torky ... This was her 8th WSA tour event title ... After losing first game in extra points Joshana made a strong comeback and won next two games to lead 2-1 ... But Heba take full advantage of Joshana's unforced errors and won 4th game comfortably ... In fifth game both players were neck to neck but at 6-7 Heba won next 4 points to gave herself 3 match balls, 10-7 ... Under pressure Joshana raised her game and saved all thee match balls and won five points in a row for exciting title win.
Before this Joshana faced tough resistant from Japanese Kobayashi in the semis ... In first 2 rounds also Joshana faced resistant from her opponents though she won both matches in straight games.
