Buji produced a remarkable upset victory at the Citi Open, he defeated Alexandr Dolgopolov, the world no. 25 player and the defending tournament champion ... In the opening set Buji struggled to hold his serve in first game but hold after saving 2 break points ... From 2-all match turned as Buji take advantage of unforced errors from Dolgo and broke him in 5th game ... After that Buji served 3 aces to hold his next game, 4-2 ... While serving for staying in the set at 3-5 Dolgo failed to hold his serve and lost the first set ... In the second set Buji lost his serve in 5th game and was down 2-4 but he broke Dolgo in 8th game to made it 4-all ... At 6-5 Buji missed 2 match points on Dolgo's serve but Buji dominated tie-break from the start ... He was up with mini-break early. 2-1 ... And had 4 match points at 6-2, Buji converted his 5th match point for his first top-25 win of they year ... This win is setting up a potential rematch with former college rival John Isner in the next round, if Isner wins his match against Alex Kuznetsov.

I feel like I am playing before a hometown crowd, when I play here. I have so many friends here and former teammates and people from Charlottesville that come to cheer me on."
