Sindhu lost in long 62 minutes match against Shixian ... Both players shared first 2 games which both players won leading from early ... In the final game Sindhu take charge from 8-7 ... She take 17-8 lead but from here Shixian tried fightback winning 8 points in a row to make it 16-17 ... Shixian had a match point at 20-19 but she failed to convert and Sindhu won next 3 points for excellent win over Shixian ... Her first win over Wang ... Next she is facing Eriko Hirose in the quarters, Hirose is leading 1-0 but that match was very close at China Super Series.
Expected win for Kashyap over Han Chou Chu but in end score was lot closer ... Next he faced Chinese test, Huan Gao ... Both shared 1-1 win but both matches went in 3 games but here Kashyap lost easily in two games ... Disappointing result.
Sai lost in straight games against WR #9 Zhengming ... Ashwini and Pradnya lost easily against Hong Kong pair.
