In the second game he started with 8-3 lead but Wei caught with him at 8-all ... Then Wei take 17-13 lead this time Srikanth caught with him at 18-all ... Srikanth won 3 points in a row from 18-19 to win this game ... In the final game Wei take early 3 points lead but Srikanth caught with him at 9-all ... Wei again take lead 14-11 lead again Srikanth caught with him at 15-all ... In this game also Srikanth won final 3 points from 18-19 to completed victory in 62 minutes.

Other hand Guru scored very comfortable win against similar ranked Chan in 34 minutes ... He didn't give any chance to Chan in both games.

Ashwini lost in women,s doubles and mixed doubles in contrasting matches .... Still creditable performance from her with new partners..

Wang tried fight back from 8-15 and he saved 4 game points from 16-20 to catch Ajay but Ajay won next 2 points to win this game ... Somewhat similar story repeated in the second game ... Germany failed to recover from early set-back ... They reduced margin through penalty corner in the second half but our boys scored another goal for comfortable win ... In the third match we managed only boring draw against Pakistan team ... In this match our forwards failed to win a single penalty corner ... In 4th match we defeated New Zealand comfortably ... From the start our boys dominated the match and scored 3 goals in the first half ... In the second half our team used unnecessary defensive tactics ... They missed numerous chances also and in between New Zealand managed to score but this win guarantee India's place in the final on the Sunday.

In emotional match Rohan and Mahesh scored win over Leander and Radek after saving 1 match point in 1 hour 25 minutes to book their place in the final ... In the final they will play sixth seeds Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez ... Mahesh is a four-time runner-up in this tournament ... Three of his runner-up finishes came with Paes in 1997, 1999 and 2000 ... He also finished runner-up with Max Mirnyi in 2010 ... Other hand Lee need to wait for his first title in this year end tournament.

In the first set Lee and Radek take break in 7th game on Mahesh's serve converting 4th break point ... They kept this break advantage to win the first set ... In the second set Mahesh and Radek put pressure on Lee and Radek's serve ... They broke Lee's serve in 4th game and Radek's serve in 6th game to win this set ... In this set Lee and Radek managed to win only 12 points ... In match tie-break Lee and Radek take first mini-break on 6th point on Mahesh's serve ... Lee and Radek were leading 3-7 and 5-8 ... Suddenly Lee and Radek came under pressure and both missed easy volleys ans scored back on 8-all ... At 8-9 Maesh saved a match point with backhand volley on Rohan's serve ... “It was enjoyable at the end. In this format, things change very quickly. We just had to keep our heads down and fight, because things can change at any second. From 3-7 and 5-8 down in the tie-break, made a few shots and the next thing you know we’re up match point.”

Rohan Bopanna - “We just wanted to make sure that we kept aggressive on the court. They came up with a couple of good volleys to be ahead in the tie-break. We didn’t play any bad points as such. We just kept the same strategy and it paid off.”

In the second set Rutuja was 2-0 up with early break but again lost next 4 games ... But this time Rutuja broke back to make it 5-all ... Mahesh and Rohan lifted their first Masters title together when they defeated 7th seeds Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer in 85 minutes in the final of the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris ... This is Mahesh 50th tour level title and 16th Masters title ... Other hand Rohan win his 7th tour level title and 2nd Masters title.

In the final our pair had couple of set points in 10th game on Aisam's serve then again they had 4 set points on Rojer's serve in 12th game but they failed to convert any of those break points ... In the tie-break Rohan and Aisam were 2-5 down but they recovered to make it 5-all ... Our pair saved a set point at 5-6 and then coverted 7th set point on Rojer's serve ... Our pair dominated the second set ... From 3-all they broke Rojer's in 7th and then Aisam in 9th games to win the final.


Mahesh Bhupathi - “The match could have gone either way, but I felt we played really well on the big points. At this level, at this stage of any big event, that is what counts. We have been very consistent at the Masters 1000s. It has been a little disappointing in the Grand Slams, but we have made up for it here. I am so relieved and happy to have qualified for London."

Rohan Bopanna - “It is definitely the best week we have played all season. We are very happy with the way we played and I hope we can take this form to London.
