Goal Scored - Rupinder Pal Singh (IND) 20' PC and Umar Bhutta (PAK) 49', Mohammad Imran (PAK) 55' PC, Sohail Abbas (PAK) 57' PC
Australia bt South Korea 4-2
New Zealand bt Malaysia 1-0
In this match we played stupiddest hockey with no strategy ... Harendra should kicked out of Indian coach position for this poor show ... Though we scored goal through Rupinder still Pakistan was looking better team on the field ... We were leading at half-time but in second half all Pakistan show was on the field ... Again our defenders played like there were no mid-fielders on the field ... Same stupid long passes (scoops) from inside 25 yards and really boneheaded overall hockey from our players ... Frankly I would be happy if Harendra manage to spell STRATEGY word correctly.
