In other match Yuki couldn't match power game of Istomin, who gave him bitter dose of professional tennis ... Istomin scored dominating win over Yuki, who didn't have a single break point on Denis's serve but faced 12 break points on his serve and managed to save 8.

(6) Rupesh ROY (IND) l (8) Nathan THOMPSON (USA) 64 26 57
Tough loss for Rupesh ... Nathan was on court with proper gameplan against Rupesh, from start he kept Rupesh in long rallies ... Though in start Rupesh was winning many points but he was looking tired in late of first set ... And I feel that was turning point as from their Rupesh was always doing catching game ... Most of the games were going into duece with long rallies and Nathan take control slowly.
Rupesh game looks improved ... Nice backhand slice, powerful forehand, double handed backhand and decent court coverage ... He still need to work on his service, volleys and importantly fitness for long matches.

We were lucky to drew this match with Africans ... Again we showed patchy performance ... We were struggling in defence but most worrying part was our lack of ability of finding finisher in forward-line ... We had numerous opportunities but failed to convert those ... Other hand South Africa take advantage of mistakes from our defense ... After South Africa scored their 3rd goal we were dominating major part of the match but we waited until Shivendra showed quick-hands from close range just before 5 mins of hooter ... With this draw we finished 4th position with 4 pts same like South Africa but our goal average is much better from them ... Australia and England moved to semi-final as winner and runnerup of the group.
