Surprisingly German stretched Anup Sridhar to third game in the first round, otherwise dominating start by our players ... Chetan won his match against top-60 Swedish player in mere 19 minutes ... In the second round Anand Pawar having tough match against top-25 British player but Anand having game to surprise him.

But not so promising start in doubles as our pair lost in 22 minutes against seeded Russian pair.

Good start by Diju and Jwala, they won first round match in 19 mins.
