At 2008 IBSF World Snooker Championships, Wels, Austria

Pankaj and Manan Chandra topped their respective groups to qualify for knockout stage, Sourav Kothari finished 2nd in his group.

In Masters event Geet Sethi and Alok Kumar qualified to knockout stage as group winners.

In womens section, Anuja Chandra and Vidya Pillai qualified for knockout stage finishing 2nd in their respective groups.

In knockout stage, Sourav lost in round of 64, Manan also failed to produce his good form and lost in round of 32 ... Pankaj also surprisingly lost against Chinese opponent in the quarters.

Our both girls also lost in the quarters ... In Masters event, Alok Kumar lost against Robby Foldvari in round of 16 but Geet is in the semis where he will face John Welsh of England.
