At World Juniors 2008, Pune, India

[SF] (5/8) Gurusaidutt R. M. V. (IND) l (3/4) Zhengming WANG (CHN) 16-21 21-17 17-21
[SF] (1) Saina NEHWAL (IND) bt (3/4) Shixian WANG (CHN) 22-20 21-12

[F] (1) Saina NEHWAL (IND) vs (9/16) Sayaka SATO (JPN)

Gurusaidutt played extremely well against superior Chinese opponent in 47 mins match ... I liked his fighting spirit and never die attitude ... After losing first game he kept pressure on Wang to won next ... In third game Wang was playing exceptionally well taking 15-5 lead ... But instead of melting down under pressure Gurusaidutt forced quality comeback and played very encouraging stuff ... He gave his best but difference was huge ... This is supreme talent, I hope he will be nurtured properly under Gopichand & comapny.

Saina was slow starter against 3rd seed Wang ... In first game she was doing catching game ... She was down 1-5, 5-8, 11-17 and then 15-19 ... Saina leveled at 19-all but then Wang had game point but from then Saina must thought 'its enough' and won next 3 points to captured first game ... In second game she toyed Chinese opponent to won this game and match ... In the final she is facing Japanese opponent.
