I was avoiding writing anything about India's mens hockey because of poor state of it and horrible administration last few years ... But today's final match changed my mind and make sure I write something positive about it.

Agree it’s too early to predict anything from this team against top European and Australian teams, BUT TODAY WE OUTPLAYED KOREA, who were here with their full strength team, THATS REALITY.

Frankly I don't remember when last time I saw such fluent performance by our team ... We were superb in passing, interception, releasing ball early, speed, follow up to support other players, also defense was good ... I was awe seeing our team's this performance ... Our forwardline was looking opportunistic, goals from Sunil Kumar and Rajpal were some of examples .. Also co-ordination between players were superb, one should watch goal from Prabodh Tirkey to see co-ordination between him and Prabhojot ... Our forwardline played unselfish game and passing balls to our partner who was in better position to score.

Yeah our coach need to work on some issues like PC conversion, defense, tackling, temper on the field, players get relaxed in end of every half ... But today our team and coach, Joaquim Carvalho, deserve all the praises they r receiving ... I m also saluting to our team.
