Somi started tentatively and was break down early ... Was down 1-3 then 2-4 but turning point of the match came in 7th game when Somi saved 3 break points to hold serve ... He broke Malisse twice to win first set ... In second set Somi broke Malisse's serve in 4th game and again broke in 8th game to won this match ... Though score looks one-sided but match was lot closer ... Somi managed to win important points.
Superb win by Somi after down 2-4 in the first set ... Showed his usual never-die-attitude after that ... Bravo Somi!
Rajeev Ram moved to quarters with 2 tie-breaks in win over German.
Rohan and Aisam produced very good comeback win against Swiss pair ... After losing first set they played solid tennis ... They broke Swiss pair in 6th and 8th game to won second set ... In super tie-break they started with mini-break and take another on 5th point ... They didn't lose point on their serve in super tie-break ... Solid performance by Rohan and Aisam.
In doubles, Prakash and Cerretani scored comfortable win over local wild-card pair ... Also Rajeev and Eric Butorac won their first round match and they will face Kash and Cerretani in quarters.
