Shubhankar Sharma has captured the Asian Tour Habitat for Humanity Standings title ... The 22-year-old Shubhankar emerged as the 2018 Asian Tour Order of Merit champion following a dream season in Asia ... He becomes the fifth and youngest Indian to top the Asian Tour money list in a particular season ... He joins the exclusive club of Indians who have achieved the feat in the past - Jyoti Randhawa (2002), Arjun Atwal (2003), Jeev Milkha Singh (2006 and 2008) and Anirban Lahiri (2015) ... With this, Shubhankar automatically qualifies for the next year's British Open and WGC Mexico Championship as a winner of the Asian Tour Order of Merit.

Next week, he will be playing the last event of 2018 the BNI Indonesian Masters.

Gaganjeet Bhullar wins his first European Tour title on his 106th European Tour event and is now exempt until the end of next season after adding to his Challenge Tour win in 2011 and eight Asian Tour victories ... He entered the final day with a one-shot lead but found himself trailing late in the day as Australian Quayle came home in 29 on back-9 and set the target at 13 under in the clubhouse ... A brilliant chip-in eagle on the 17th moved Gaganjeet back into the lead and he held his nerve to par the last and sign for a 66 that gave him a one-shot victory over Quayle, who finished with a brilliant 63 ... Four-time Major Championship winner Ernie Els signed for a closing 65 to finish at 12 under alongside New Zealander Ben Campbel.

This was a tri-sanctioned event, European tour, Australian tour and Asian tour, so with this win, he becomes the first Indian to win on Australia PGA Tour ... Also becomes the most successful Indian on the Asian tour with 9 wins, which surpassed 8 wins each by Jyoti Randhawa and Arjun Atwal.

This was his fourth top-10 finish on 2018 PGA tour ... But Shubhankar struggled on this course and the second round 9 over pushed him to finish on the second last position in this strong field.

Aditi produced four under par rounds and ended with 12 under par score ... But that wasn't enough for a strong finish on this easy playing course ... Aditi finished on the T35 position and whopping 19 strokes behind the winner, Sei Young Kim ... The 25 yrs. old Sei Young Kim created a new LPGA the 72-hole record with the 31-under-par score ... She bettered record of the 27-under-par which scored by Annika Sorenstam in 2001.
