Sania had a good start winning first set conveniently though got broken once ... In second set Sania saved 2 break points in the first game but then had a chance of early break when she had 3 break point chances on Malek's serve but Malek holds ... In fourth game had a chance to break Malek but again she failed to convert that ... At last Sania broke Malek's serve in 6th game to lead 4-2 ... But somehow she managed to bring back her problem of poor servicing in the match and got broken twice to lose next 4 games to gave set to Malek ... Sania lost her service game in the first but she broke back in next 2 make it 1-all ... Malek again broke Sania in 3rd game and hold her serve in next ... At last after losing 4 service games (on her serve) Sania managed to win 5th game but Malek again broke Sania in 7th game to lead 2-5 ... Sania broke Malek's serve in next game after saving one match point to make it 3-5 ... But again Sania lost her serve in 9th game to lose match in 1 hour 54 minutes.

In third set she only managed to hold her serve once and got broken 4 times ... Frankly her service stat was decent ... First serve % was 64, Malek had 55% ... But what was shocking 1st serve points won, Sania managed to win only 33% (6/18), Malek 65% (11/17).
