Sur Club's Talal Mohamed Mubarak Al Saifi (in 43rd min) and goalkeeper Ahmed Khamis Thunai Al Qulhati (90+ min) received red cards, that was also helped Dempo.

So with this win Dempo booked their ticket to knockout ( quarter-finals ) stage as their goal difference also improve to +1 ... Now second match from their group will decide their standing in the group.

For knockout stage top teams from each group, i.e. 5, and best 3 second teams will consider ... East Bengal need to win their match to qualify for knockout stage.
