After a super-notch victory against Stosur, Ankita lost in a marathon against Kai-Lin Zhang in 3 hours ... Ankita started comfortably and won the first set losing a single game ... In the second set, she was down 3-5, won next 3 games and missed a couple of set points in the 12h game ... She lost the tie-break easily, but in the final set, she failed to close the match after taking a 5-1 lead ... She failed to hold her serve in the 7th and the 9th games ... She again had 3 match points on Zhang's serve in the 12th game, which she missed ... Ankita was down 0-3 but she caught at 6-all and 7-all but lost next 2 points to lose the match ... I feel, somehow Ankita messed up and found herself on losing side ... A big missed opportunity for gaining huge points.
