Yuki won a dogfight against in-form Nishioka ... Nishioka won the title last week at Gimcheon beating 2 top-100 players; Vasek Posipisil and Jordan Thompson ... In this match, both players played defensive game and with a single break advantage Nishioka won the first set ... In the second set, Yuki was an early break down but he broke Nishioka in the 4th game for 2-all ... He again broke Nishioka in the 6th game to lead 4-2, but Yuki failed to hold his serve in the 9th game when he was serving for the set, 5-4 ... In the tie-break, Yuki was mini-break down at 2-4 but he won 4 points from next 5 points to lead 6-5 ... Yuki missed a set point but converted the second ... In the final set, Yuki broke Nishioka in the 1st game to lead 1-0 ... After that Yuki saved a couple of break points before holding his serve ... Yuki converted 4th break point to up with double break, 3-0 ... Nishioka retired from the match, may be he was tired after last week's heroic ... Next, Yuki is facing Chinese experienced player, Ze Zhang.

Bala struggled early against Horansky and lost the first set cheaply ... He recovered to win the second and match suspended as both players were 3-all.
Before that, Bala scored straight sets upset win over top-400 Frenchman Lamasine for entering into the main-draw ... But Mukund lost against Argentine Pana Lopez in straight sets.

In the doubles, Bala and Vishnu r facing local alternate pair.
