This turnout to be a breakthrough tournament for Saina after her career threatening injury ... In the semis, she defeated Intanon in well fought two games ... In the first game, Intanon opened 2-3 points lead from 5-all .. From 10-13 down Saina won next four points to take a lead, but Intanon recaptured lead at 16-18 ... Saina made it 18-all and won three points in a row from 18-19 for winning this game ... In the second game, Saina opened a big lead 6-1 and she was leading throughout the game ... But Intanon tried a fightback winning six points in a row to 17-all from 11-17 down ... Saina refocused and took 20-18 lead and converted the 2nd match point for a win ... In the final, she is facing in-form WR #1 Tai Tzu-ying.
Indonesian WR #1 pair proved too strong for our young Satwik and Chirag, but still really good tournament for them.
