At $577K Delray Beach Open 2016, Florida, USA

[Q1] Somdev Devvarman (IND,186) l (4) Alejandro Falla (COL,126) 75 26 16

Very discouraging loss of Buji after encouraging start ... After winning the first set he failed to hold his serve once in next two sets ... How anyone can win his match with a such performance?

Buji was up 2-0 after breaking Falla in 1st game but afterwards lost five games in a row for down 2-5 ... After that Buji won next five games in that breaking Fall in 9th and 11th games for winning the first set ... In the second set also multiple breaks but this time Buji failed to hold his serve ... He broke Falla two times but got broken four times to lose the set ... The last set also repeat of the second ... In this set also Buji failed to hold his serve ... He broke Falla onece but got broken three times to lose ... Very disappointing performance by Buji.

Singles draw is out Yuki and Saketh r in different draw and having decent first round opponents ... 16 yrs old Adil having a wild card but I think this is too far, instead he should be given wild-card for qualifying ... Sanam is facing tough opponent, Bala is also facing seeded Chinese opponent ... Hoping for win for VSP against veteran Jimmy Wang.

In the qualifying first round overall expected results.

Fighting performance against experienced Frenchman by Bala in his loss ... After losing the first set Bala fought back for winning the second ... Bala failed to keep momentum in the third set ... Still overall good outing before Delhi challenger.
