Saina lose in straight games against defending champion Spanish girl Caroline Marin in the final ... With this Saina become first Indian player to win Silver medal in World badminton championship.
In this match Saina made numerous unforced errors like hitting out of the court or missing simple flicks near the net ... In the first game Saina kept couple of points lead from the start but from 7-5 Saina lost next 6 points due to unforced errors to down 7-11 ... Carolina increased lead to 20-13 ... After that Saina saved three game points but Carolina converted fourth point for winning this game ... In the second game we saw again repeat of first game ... Saina was leading by a point early and then won four points in a row from 6-5 to lead 10-5 ... Saina increased lead to 12-6 but this time also Carolina won seven points in a row to lead 13-12 ... Again Saina take couple of points lead 15-13, 16-14 and 17-15 ... Carolina caught Saina at 17-all and then gave herself couple of championship points after winning three points in a row from 17-18 to lead 20-18 ... Saina saved a championship point but failed to save second one ... Saina lost her match in 59 minutes.
