Qualifier Joshna Chinappa reached in the semis of Macau open with hard fought five games win over Japanese Kobayashi but other hand 2nd seed Dipika lost against her Egyptian opponent after taking 2-1 games lead ... Dipika failed to win match in 4th game which she lost in extra points.
Before this in the first round Joshna scored huge upset win over WR #16 Mexican Samantha Teran in four close games ... In the semis Joshna is facing top-seed Joelle King.
